RSA Bibliographic Standards Subcommittee
The RSA Bibliographic Standards Subcommittee met from November 2012 to October 2013. This subcommittee began revising the RSA Bibliographic Standards, a set of guidelines which ensure consistent and quality cataloging practices for the shared RSA database.
In April 2014, the Bibliographic Standards Subcommittee disbanded because RSA started to plan and then implemented a centralized cataloging department the following year. The RSA Bibliographic Standards revised in 1999 remain in effect until further notice and are posted on the Policies for WorkFlows Cataloging page. RSA recognizes the importance of revisiting these standards and will keep the membership informed via the RSA listserv and Database Committee meetings.
